Gangsters

Wow...I'm surprised i have to explain this to people but here goes...Listen here all you honorary bloods and crips; vathos locos and ms13's...YOU guys aren't gangsters! Just because you wear the colors, learn a little lingo and know how to throw up the gang signs...Please stop it guys...Being a gangster is a life style...you really gotta live that shit guys...you really have to protect your hood and "ride" on niggas who disrespect your shit...It's kinda sad because it's never the real gangstas that get jacked and shot up...it's always the fakers...niggas that wanna be hard so they hang around with hard niggas...well obviously you're good at mimicking people so hang out with hard-working guys instead...hang out with students and scholars...think about please...before I go i have to give a shout out to my favorite gangsters of all time...the fucking "college gangsters"...lol..how you swang yo rag at the club, c-walk, throw up gang signs, wear red or blue, and still make it to your psychology class at 8 am...that's hilarious...til the next thought pops in my head, peace

Perseverance

Perseverance...the meaning of the word doesn't hit you until you win at least one small battle on your personal conquest...whether you seek a promotion on your job, or to get approved on a home loan...it could be something as simple as building a relationship with someone you don't particularly care for...whenever someone choses to embark on a journey where the odds are against them they should understand that perseverance is the key to to success...trust me guys, life isn't easy...and i'm not talking to people that has had everything given to them...silver spoon kids and adults...I'm talking to all of the Jay Z's of the world...People that grew up in a world where getting a "good" job at wal-mart is making it...or their only alternative after high school is selling drugs or committing petty crimes to survive... people who's mothers and mother's mother stayed on welfare their whole life...people who went through grade school systems where the only goal was to increase attendance so the bonus checks would be a little bit larger...help us educators and future educators...get our students prepared for the day after graduation...it could've helped me...
